Find out more about new Clifton Park dog walking rules at meeting
Clifton Park

DOG owners have been invited to a meeting next week to find out more about new council rules for pet owners in Clifton Park.

Rotherham Borough Council is introducing new rules over where dogs can be let off the lead and about their behaviour in the park and some dog owners say they need to know more details.

Damien Wilson, the council’s strategic director of regeneration and environment, will meet dog owners at Clifton Park’s Garden Room on Tuesday, October 3, from 7pm to 9pm to answer questions.

One of the event organisers, Ken Dolan, said many people were confused about the new rules and wanted clarification.

He said: “In actual fact people don’t understand them. It’s difficult for people to form a view if there is a lot of confusion.”
