Publicity officer Patricia Gorrell said everyone was welcome to attend the last services at the church, which has been a place of worship for 258 years.

The church is up for sale for £255,000 and the Advertiser reported last week that literacy charity Grimm & Co wants to buy and redevelop into a larger base with more space for story workshops, a café and a bookshop.
