A red BMW 325 was travelling from Wadworth to Tickhill when it collided with the man 100 yards on the Tickhill side of the junction with Wellingley Lane around 2.25am.
The man was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary with a dislocated wrist, fractured pelvis and suspected internal injuries.
His injuries are said to be life threatening.

Hide AdPolice are appealing for witnesses and officers would like to trace another car travelling in the same direction ahead of the BMW, from Wadworth to Tickhill, which is reported to have narrowly missed a pedestrian.
