Family's tribute to Levi after M1 death

THE family of a dad who died on the M1 have paid tribute — saying he will never be forgotten.

Levi Thompson’s body was found on the northbound carriageway near Woodall shortly after 3.20am on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old, from Rotherham, is thought to have been on the bridge above before being hit by two HGVs on the motorway.

His family, being supported by specialist police officers, said in a statement: “Levi was a much-loved father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and a loyal friend to anyone he knew. He is gone but never forgotten.”

Police are still appealing for witnesses to the collision or any motorists who may have dashcam footage.
