Family pays tribute to motorcyclist killed in Wath crash

A MOTORCYCLIST who died in a crash at Wath has been formally named by South Yorkshire Police.

Bradley Hardy was riding along Manvers Way when the crash with a red Ford Fiesta happened near the Cawood Drive junction.

The 28-year-old died in hospital after the incident at 11.20pm on Sunday.

A police spokesperson said: “His family have described Bradley as popular and loved by all his family and friends. 

“They are absolutely devastated by his death and will greatly miss him. Bradley’s family are being supported by our specialist officers at this difficult time.”

The 18-year-old Fiesta driver was released under investigation after being arrested on suspicion of drug-driving.

Witnesses are urged to call 101, quoting incident 867 of January 9.
