THE FAMILY of a mum-of-two who died after falling from a bridge over the M18 described her as "bright and bubbly" person.

Nikita Johnson (23), from Rotherham, who died on Saturday, October 30, was described by her family as someone who "lived her best life".

A tribute released today said: "Nikita was a bright and bubbly person.

"She would certainly light up the room when she walked in.

"She was funny and such a great character to be around.

"Nikita lived for her family and when she wasn’t at home she was out at a party, living her best life.

"Nikita had so much love to give and would be there for anyone that needed her.

"She was such a loyal friend. We just all wish she knew she would’ve had that in return.

"Nikita lived with her sister and had two boys, Layton and Jensen, who she loved and adored so much.

"We are all devastated about the events that led to her death and it has left a huge void in all our lives.”

Her friend, Megan Russell (24), told the Advertiser Nikita had been someone who would cheer everybody up.

She said Nikita had loved her party life and they would regularly enjoy nights out in Rotherham with friends.

“She was really popular — she didn’t think she was, but she was,” she said.

“She had a really bubbly personality.

“She was really fun and used to make everybody laugh.

“Even if you were having a bad day she would try and cheer you up.

“You could tell her anything.”

A police spokesperson said Nikita's family were still being supported by specially-trained officers and had requested privacy.
