Craven, of Tranmoor Lane, Armthorpe, Doncaster, was also sentenced to a two-year licence period.

He was banned from working with children, placed under a sex offender prevention order and put on the sex offender register.

A Rotherham Borough Council spokesman confirmed that Craven was suspended at the time the allegations came to light and voluntarily left his job, ahead of the case reaching court.
