Entertainment aplenty at Wath Comprehensive

MURDERERS and musicians have both been making their mark at one Dearne Valley school.

Creative students at Wath Comprehensive School put on a murder mystery evening for staff and guests, who were challenged to track down the “killer” stalking the corridors.

And diners in the school canteen have been serenaded by talented musicians and singers as part of the “'Buskers on the Balcony' showcase.

Students from all year groups and subjects were invited to perform piano solos, vocal performances and a demonstration of the instruments they have learned to play at the school.

There is more entertainment to come — the school Christmas show will have a more spooky feel this year, with A Christmas Carol set to make its bow on December 13 and a Christmas concert on December 19.
