Engineers of the future start at Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre.

ALMOST 200 youngsters with a passion for engineering are set to start apprenticeships at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre.

But some companies are still on the lookout for recruits to learn at the AMRC’s Training Centre.

Programme manager Dan Swift said: “Due to continual high demand from employers and candidates, we have recruited more trainers to cope with the response.

“We have also added a second intake for apprentices in October, giving aspiring apprentices and prospective employers alike, additional time to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.”

Potential candidates and employers are invited to open days between Monday and Thursday next week.
