Engineering firm pitches in at Spurs’ new stadium
The Wincobank firm will build a grass football pitch which sits above an artificial one to be used for NFL games and music concerts.
The football field will sit in three steel trays weighing more than 3,000 tonnes each, which slide under one of the stands.

SCX’s selection follows the firm’s success in using similar technology for retractable roofs at Wimbledon’s Centre Court and No1 Court.
