Engine taken out of transit van and torched in Morthen
ARSONISTS took the engine out of a transit van and torched the vehicle in Morthen last night.
Firefighters from Aston Park were called to Field Lane 12.44am.
When they arrived on scene, they found one transit van well alight, said a spokesman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
"The fire is thought to have been started deliberately, due to the fact the engine had been taken out," he added.
Firefighters spent more than an hour at the scene.
