Engine failure causes car fire on M1
A CAR caught fire on the M1 southbound yesterday (Sunday) between junctions 32 and 33.
Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to the fire at 5pm and were at the scene for around 20 minutes, a spokesman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
The fire was caused by a car engine failure, he added.
