Electric kettle sparks bungalow fire in Kimberworth

A FIRE was accidentally started at a bungalow in Kimberworth after an electric kettle was placed on a gas hob. 

Crews from Rotherham and Elm Lane stations attended Caine Gardens just before 9pm on Friday.

The crews spent around 50 minutes at the scene, said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
