ELECTION 2015: UKIP candidate apologises over election leaflet gaffe

UKIP candidate Jane Collins has apologised for several errors in a residents’ survey sent out as part of her election campaign.

The MEP, standing in Rotherham next month, apologised for the spelling errors, which she blamed on a “junior member of staff”.

A UKIP spokesman added: "However, we are pleased to say that many people have entered into the spirit of the survey and the response has been very positive.”
