E-fit released after distraction burglary

POLICE are asking for help identifying this man, who they want to speak to following a distraction burglary.

It comes after a man visited visited the home of an 80-year-old man in Manor Road, Brampton, at around 3pm on Thursday, June 8.

The suspect pretended that he was there to discuss road alterations in the area.

While he spoke to the man at the back of the house, unknown offenders are said to have gone into the house and stolen a quantity of cash.

Following enquiries in the area, police have now released the e-fit image with the hope that someone may be able to identify the man.

Anyone who can help is urged to call 101, quoting incident number 634 of June 8.
