Edlington man jailed for two-room cannabis production

A MAN has been jailed after drugs police found cannabis plants growing in two upstairs bedrooms during a raid on an Edlington property.

Tyron Silman (26), of Edlington, was convicted and sentenced to two years imprisonment for the offence of production of cannabis.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “This relates to the execution of a drug search warrant by the Edlington Neighbourhood Team at an address on Gordon Road, Edlington, Doncaster last October, where cannabis plants were found being grown in two upstairs bedrooms that had been adapted for the purpose.”
