Ed Miliband's surgery visit in NHS row

Labour leader and Mexborough MP Ed Miliband dropped in at a doctor’s surgery to discuss the impact of the impending overhaul of the NHS.

Mr Miliband was at Market Street surgery in Wath to meet GP Dr David Polkinhorn to talk about the potential cost of the NHS reorganisation in Yorkshire.

Mr Miliband is concerned about the total reorganisation cost of £350 million, including £17 million in Rotherham, according to a leaked Department of Health document.
