Drugs and cash seized in Bolton-on-Dearne raid

POLICE seized drugs and cash from a house in Bolton-on-Dearne this morning (Tuesday).

Officers retrieved money and “a quantity of cannabis” during a raid at Thurnscoe Road, in which the property’s front door was broken down (pictured).

Staff from the Goldthorpe Neighbourhood Team and Barnsley’s Tasking Team were acting on intelligence, a police spokeswoman said.

A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and money laundering.

Police urge anyone with concerns about drug use or supply in their area to speak to their local policing team or call 101.
