Drivers escape serious injury in M1 crash

DRIVERS escaped serious injury in a early-hours smash on the M1.

The crash happened before dawn on Tuesday, near junction 34 at Meadowhall.

A Ford Focus had spun on the asphalt, before a Ford Fiesta collided with it.

South Yorkshire Police posted pictures of the crash on Facebook.

They said those involved suffered minor injuries.
