Driver trapped after car crashes into Wath building
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man in his 40s from a car last night (Monday) after it crashed into a building in Wath.
Crews from Dearne, Rotherham and Cudworth stations were called to Doncaster Road at 10pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving one vehicle, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
“One man, who was thought to be in his 40s, was trapped,” said the spokeswoman.
“Crews left the scene at around 11pm.”
