Driver taken to hospital after Swinton crash
A DRIVER involved in a collision has been taken to hospital after falling ill behind the wheel this afternoon (Monday).
The single-vehicle collision happened at around 3.52pm on Warren Vale, Swinton.
"The driver of the vehicle, a 52-year-old man, has been taken to hospital as a precaution," said a police spokeswoman.
He is believed to have fallen ill behind the wheel.
The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene.
