Driver arrested after testing positive for cocaine

A MAN was arrested for drug driving after testing positive for cocaine and cannabis at the roadside.

The 30-year-old motorist’s Grey Audi A3 was stopped in Upper Wortley Road, Thorpe Hesley, at 4.30pm on Sunday.

The vehicle was seized as it was uninsured and the driver was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

His sample was sent away for analysis.

The driver was released under investigation.
