Driver (24) admits causing death of Rawmarsh mum Megan Borrows

A MOTORIST has admitted causing the death of a mother-of-two by careless or inconsiderate driving more than two years ago.

Deryon King (24), of Bennett Street, Kimberworth, will be sentenced at Sheffield Crown Court on August 23 after pleading guilty to a charge relating to the death of Megan Borrows on June 8, 2017.

He admitted at a hearing at the crown court yesterday to causing the 24-year-old's death by careless or inconsiderate driving.

King is yet to enter a plea on a second count of causing death by driving a vehicle without insurance or a licence.

He was released on bail to appear at the same court on August 23 for sentencing.

Talented Rawmarsh dancer Megan had two daughters, Rhia and Keira, and was described by a friend as “the life and soul of the party”.
