Drink-driver pays the price

A MOTORIST who failed to give a breath specimen after being stopped by police has been landed with a £2,015 bill.

Paul Needham (56), from Aberdeen, was fined £1,500 with £500 costs, after admitting at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court to a charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

Needham, who was stopped in Rotherham in June, was also banned from driving for three years and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.
