Dotty the dog safe and well after vehicle theft

POLICE tracked down a four-legged crime victim following a vehicle theft today (Tuesday).

Dotty the dog has been reunited with her owner after the vehicle she was in was stolen at about 11.40am.

The dog was in the back of a Mitsubishi vehicle stolen from Hellaby Industrial Estate and recovered at nearby nearby Kevin Grove.

Dotty had been missing for 20 minutes and was not hurt in the incident.

A police spokesman said there had not yet been any arrests.
