Door damaged after shots fired in Tinsley

POLICE are appealing for information after shots were fired at a property in Tinsley.

Shots were fired between 11pm and 11.30pm last Saturday at a property on Dundas Road, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said.

"When officers attended, they found damage to a door consistent with a firearms discharge," she said.

"Nobody was injured during the incident."

Detectives said they believed it to be an isloated incident and enquiries were ongoing.

They said it was not thought to be connected to any other firearms incidents.
