OLD bikes and small domestic appliances can be donated to a new scheme to be reused.

TVs, microwaves, games consoles and watches and sat-navs are among the items allowed.

Rotherham Borough Council recycling centres will also accept toasters, kettles, irons and mobile phones.

Cllr Emma Hoddinott, Cabinet member for waste, said: “We are pleased to offer residents the opportunity to have their old items re-used.”
