Leverton Way TARA: Hold a breakfast club every Tuesday morning from 10am free breakfast sandwiches and hot drinks for residents in the bungalows all other residents welcome in return for a small donation. Fish Friday every Friday from noon we order fish and chips from a local chip shop and eat together in the centre for company, any local residents welcome. Wednesday 29th June singer and buffet free for all local residents from 2pm please book spaces on a Tuesday morning or ring Pete Whitehead on 07747676361.

Dalton Community Café: the next Dalton community café will be held on Thursday June 16th from 10am to noon in the parish hall. Free hot drinks and refreshments for all local residents with a chance to meet new people and talk to local councillors and officials over what you feel may improve the local community.

Warrener’s Drive Neighbourhood Centre coffee morning: Every Wednesday morning 10am to noon a chance to socialise and discuss local needs. Open to all local residents.

Green Spaces: The Friends Of Dalton, East Herringthorpe and Thrybergh Green Spaces group litter pick every Tuesday in the Dalton and Thrybergh areas and every Thursday on East Herringthorpe both at 9.30am, full equipment and training provided. The group also supports a new community garden on Vale Road, Thrybergh and regularly tidies up in Creswick Road cemetery. For details of group activities and meetings please e-mail [email protected].
