ROTHERHAM METRO RAMBLERS: Rotherham Metro Ramblers are a friendly, welcoming group that walks every Saturday and Wednesday. Walks to suit everyone take place in the local Rotherham area or in areas of South and West Yorkshire, the White and Dark Peak areas of Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire. BIPOLAR UK: Let's talk bipolar, a new online support group open to anyone who is affected by bipolar who’s registered with a Rotherham GP. Every third Wednesday of the month. For details email: supportgroups@bipolaruk.org and we will email you the online link.            
ROTHERHAM IN BLOOM: The hunt for the borough’s best gardens is now underway. The much-loved competition is open to both council and non-council tenants, meaning any Rotherham resident can apply. The competition has several categories including: Best garden, best pots, planters and hanging baskets, best vegetable patch and for the younger residents - best young gardener. This year also sees the introduction of a new category - best wildlife garden or sustainable garden. Each category will have two winners, one council and one non-council tenant - each winning £100 in gardening vouchers - with two runners up in each category each receiving £50 in gardening vouchers. HEALTHWATCH ROTHERHAM: Healthwatch Rotherham are looking into long covid/post-covid syndrome and how it has affected people in Rotherham (symptoms, impact of symptoms, diagnosis, treatment etc). We would like to find out what services people are accessing, whether these are helping their symptoms, highlighting any issues with diagnosis/referrals and the impact Post-Covid Syndrome is having on people, as others slowly emerge from the pandemic and return to normal.
