Diesel the Rottweiler's lost without his cat pal

Loving cat owner Jayne Burrows said that Diesel had been left “mooching around” since the disappearance of his feline friend Mia, who has been missing since April 13.

Now Jayne is appealing for the public's help in finding Mia.

Jayne (44) said: “People are probably thinking it's just another missing cat but  the pet that she has left behind is pining for her.

“Mia took to him like he was her mum as soon as we fetched her home 19 months ago at eight weeks old. Diesel is so unhappy, just mooching around and keeps making noises as though he is crying.

“I know if she came home it would make us all very very happy, especially a very sad Diesel.

“We have been out at one in the morning looking for her, but would really like someone to get in touch if they see her anywhere–she’s fluffy and white, you can't miss her.”
