Did you witness a woman being hit by a car in Ravenfield?

DETECTIVES are appealing to a couple who may have witnessed a woman being hit by a vehicle in Ravenfield to come forward.

The 29-year-old woman was walking along Moor Lane South towards Ravenfield, following an altercation with a man, just after 2.50pm on Sunday, May 5, a police spokeswoman said.

“The man is said to have then followed the victim in his car, a silver Skoda Fabia, driving in what has been described as a dangerous manner,” said the spokeswoman.

“As the victim approached the concrete bridge on Moor Lane South, the suspect is said to have driven his car onto the kerb and collided with the 29-year-old.

“The woman suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.”

Police believe that a man and woman walking nearby saw what happened and are appealing for them to come forward.
