IT’S been a busy month for diamond couple Donald and Brenda Hoden as they await the arrival of their seventh great grandchild just weeks after celebrating 60 years of marriage.

The couple, of Uplands Way, Rawmarsh, met at the former Rotherham Baths dance hall before tying the knot at Rawmarsh Parish Church on March 30, 1957.

Donald (79) said he and Brenda (79) had four children, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren, with a seventh due “any time”.
