"Devastated" family pay tribute to "bubbly" Thurcroft crash victim

THE FAMILY of a nursery worker who was killed in a car crash in Thurcroft have paid tribute to a "wonderful bubbly girl".

Clare Turner (24) died after her Vauxhall Vectra crashed into a tree on Kingsforth Lane at about 2.15pm on Monday.

Police believe the Vauxhall Vectra lost control and collided with a tree near Kingsforth Lane Fisheries.

Clare, who worked at Tiny Treasures Pre-School in Conisbrough, was pronounced dead at the scene and her family are being support by specialist officers.

Her family said in a statement: "Clare was a wonderful bubbly girl who was much loved by her family and friends.

"We are devastated that she has been taken from us so early.

"She had so much to look forward to and she will be missed by everyone who knew her."

Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the collision and any witnesses are asked to email investigating officer PC James Durkin from the serious collisions unit on [email protected] or call 101 quoting incident number 479 of October 14.

Police said they were especially keen to hear from motorists who may hold dash-cam footage of the incident.
