Designer clothing worth £10,000 found in stolen car after Parkgate burglary

The Audi Q3 (above) was seen by officers from South Yorkshire Police’s operational support unit being driven away from the scene of a commercial burglary in Parkgate at around 2.30am.

The vehicle was pursued by three tactical resources from the roads policing group and abandoned shortly afterwards, said an officer.

“We arrested three suspects after a foot chase through fields.

“You’d be forgiven for thinking the Audi was being used to support Santa’s efforts after we found an estimated £10,000 of designer clothing in the boot.”

The officer said the “Christmas criminals” spent the day in custody ‑ and turkey wasn’t on the menu.
