Derelict caravan set alight in Thurnscoe

A DERELICT caravan was targeted by arsonists in Thurnscoe last night.

A crew from Dearne station attended the scene in Clayton Lane at 9.25pm. 

"The caravan was believed to be derelict and the cause of the fire was deliberate," said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue. 

The crew left at 10pm.
