Derelict building fire in Canklow

A DERELICT building was set alight by arsonists in Canklow in the early hours of this morning (Thursday). 

Fire crews from Rotherham and Parkway were called to Canklow Road at 1.20am.

"A small fire was started inside of a derelict building and the cause was deliberate," a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said. 

The crews left the scene at 2am.
