Delivery driver has parcels robbed during his break

The 33-year-old told police he had pulled into a Golden Smithies Lane at 5.15pm on November 20 to “take a break” when a dark-coloured Transit van had pulled up behind him.

Three men wearing dark clothes, with their faces covered, intimidated the man before helping themselves to the parcels in his Volkswagen Golf, police said.

According to the victim, it is understood the Transit van’s registration plate began with the letter “K”. 

A police spokesperson said: “If you have any information, please contact us using webchat, our online portal or by calling 101 quoting incident number 992 of November 20."
