Deliberate car fire which spread to house tackled by three fire crews
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire that first destroyed a car and then spread to a house in Aston.
Three fire crews from Aston, Birley Moor and Maltby stations attended an incident at 2.25am on Cantilupe Crescent.
The crews left the scene at 4.30am.
Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving bushes at 7.10pm on Barrowfield Road, Thurnscoe, and were there until 7.50pm.
A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 8.05pm on Beresford Road, Maltby.
Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident and left at 8.50pm.
