Death crash driver named by police

Wayne Smith (42), of Ravenfield, was driving his Mitsubishi Evolution on Hollings Lane at around 4pm last Tuesday when it crashed into a wall.

Paramedics pronounced Mr Smith dead at the scene, near the Quarry Garage.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call them on 101, quoting incident number 698 of December 13.
