Dearne Valley railway death ‘not suspicious’
THE death of a man at a Dearne Valley railway station is not being treated as suspicious, transport police said.
The man in his 30s died yesterday (Wednesday) at Bolton-on-Dearne station.
British Transport Police were called to the scene following a report of a casualty on the tracks at 11.06am.
A BTP spokeswoman added: “Officers attended and sadly a man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
