Date of pair’s Ferham attempted murder trial brought forward

A MAN and a woman accused of an attempted murder in Ferham have appeared in court.

Nathan Liversidge (30), of no fixed abode, and Gemma Muscroft (32), of Hartington Road, Ferham, who are accused of attempting to murder a man last month, appeared at Sheffield Crown Court today (Wednesday) for a pre-trial hearing.

The date of their trial, originally scheduled for July 1, was brought forward to June 10 at the hearing.

Neither Liversidge, who appeared at the hearing via videolink, nor Muscroft, who was in the dock, have entered pleas to a charge of attempting to murder Meredith Williams between February 21 and 22.

They have also been charged with false imprisonment.

Liversidge and Muscroft were remanded into custody.
