Cyclist injured in Tickhill collision

A CYCLIST needed hospital treatment after being hurt in an accident involving a van.

Emergency services were called at around 10.40am on Saturday to Bawtry Road in Tickhill following reports of a collision. 

A police spokeswoman said: “A silver van and a bicycle were involved in a collision close to the garden centre. 

“The cyclist, a man believed to be in his 60s, was taken to hospital but his injuries were not thought to be serious.”
