Cut-back Tram Train service resumes four days after service was suspended

TRAM Train services will begin running twice an hour this afternoon (Tuesday) - four days after the entire fleet was withdrawn from service for checks.

Stagecoach Supertram said the first departure from Cathedral to Parkgate would be at 3.27pm and from Parkgate to Cathedral at 3.31pm.

Two services will run an hour, instead of the usual three, until further notice, at 00 and 27 past the hour from Cathedral and 31 and 59 past the hour from Parkgate.

 

The Tram Train fleet was withdrawn from service on Friday following advice by the manufacturer, Stadler.

It has carried out checks on the fleet over the last few days.
