CSI and fire service investigating Wickersley garage fire
The scene this morning

CRIME scene investigators and the fire service have been at the scene of a garage fire which broke out in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

The domestic garage was “well alight” when firefighters were called to the scene in Morthen Road, Wickersley, at 1am.

Three crews tackled the blaze and left the scene around 2am.

A fire service spokesman said fire investigators had returned to the property this morning. No cause has yet been determined.

Crime scene investigators from South Yorkshire Police were also seen at the site.

The force has been contacted for more information.
