Crews tackle trio of deliberate rubbish and wood fires

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a trio of fires overnight involving wood and rubbish.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving pallets and rubbish at 7.25pm on Station Road, Wombwell. The crew left the scene at 8:10pm.

A fire crew from Aston station tackled a deliberate fire involving wood and rubbish at 7.35pm on Treeton Lane, Treeton, leaving at 8.15pm.

Edlington firefighters then attended a deliberate fire involving wood and cardboard at 7.50pm on Edlington Lane, Warmsworth. The crew extinguished it with a hose reel before leaving the scene at 8.10pm.
