Crews tackle sofa fire in Herringthorpe

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to deal with a sofa fire in Herringthorpe last night

The incident in Mallory Road in Herringthorpe was reported at 7.45pm.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: “Upon arrival they found a sofa being burnt by the occupier of a property. This was dealt with by 8.03pm.”
