Crews from five stations tackle deliberate fire in derelict building

CREWS from five fire stations attended a derelict building after it was deliberately set alight in Rotherham town centre.

Firefighters from Rotherham, Maltby, Central, Parkway, and Lowedges stations were called to the blaze, which involved rubbish in the basement area of the building, on Market Street at 8.35pm. 

Crews left the scene at 9.45pm.
