Crews called to three fires in borough at weekend

FIREFIGHTERS were called to two arson attacks and an accidental woodland fire over the weekend.

Crews tackled a van which was deliberately set on fire at 8.50pm on Ulley Lane, Rotherham on Friday. Firefighters left at 9.30pm.

Firefighters from Dearne station spent over an hour at an accidental fire involving woodland at 8.45am on Farfield Lane, Wath, on Saturday. The crew left the scene at 9.40am.

Later the same day, a detached garage was deliberately set on fire at 3.55pm on Finch Road, Balby. Firefighters left at 5.30pm.
