Credit card squad in Rotherham swoop
OFFICERS from a special police credit card fraud squad carried out a raid at premises in Rotherham today as part of an on-going nationwide investigation.
Around £20 million is spent nationally by using cards fraudulently in the run-up to Christmas.
The Dedicated Cheque and Plastic Crime Unit (DCPCU)— the bank-sponsored police squad—which carried out the raid refused to give further details.
