Covid-19 positive patients on the rise at Rotherham Hospital

There have been three further deaths of patients who died after a positive Covid test in the last seven days at the hospital. 

As of this morning, there were no inpatients being treated with the virus in critical care. 

The total number of inpatients who have tested positive since Covid-19 began is now 4,895.

More than 85 per cent of the population in Rotherham aged over 12 have had their first dose of the vaccine, 81.7 per cent have had their second and more than 65 per cent have received a booster jab.
